The unit is designed for impact testing glass bottles and glass containers for canned food products manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST 32131-2013 and GOST 5717.1-2014. Impact site is selected by moving the cleat in vertical direction manually or automatically.

There are two modes of operation implemented in the glass impact test unit:
UIS-U can be set to the energy of impact on a bottle or jar in the range of 0.02 to 2.5 J, as well as the speed of the pendulum component at the moment of impact in the range of 0.25 to 3.00 m/s. Impact site is selected by moving the cleat in the vertical direction manually or automatically.
The impact facility is equipped with a USB interface for data acquisition and processing systems.
The software allows the unit to be included in the Vertech SILQual (France) information collection and processing system.
