Principle of operation of the device involves action of electric charge on oxygen molecules, resulting in their decomposition into atomic oxygen, which then synthesize with molecular oxygen, forming the final product, i.e. ozone.
Household air ozonators are used to:
- disinfect air in an apartment or house, remove pathogenic bacteria, putrid odour, and mould;
- purify drinking water, removing various harmful metals, viruses, chlorine;
- purify food (meat, vegetables, fruits), removing chemicals, antibiotics, various harmful additives;
- disinfect refrigerators and remove unpleasant odours;
- ozonize bedding items, underwear, furniture, footwear;
- treat air conditioners.
